INVESTING FOR THE FUTURE

Swift’s production facility has been subject to large scale investment

New CNC machinery reduces waste.
Full extraction systems capture and recycle sawdust for cleaner air. Waste dust is recycled into a number of different materials including pet bedding and paper.
A new production facility opened in 2006 was designed to reduce lighting and heating costs while maximising natural daylight.
In 2011 a new access road was opened to ease traffic congestion and noise through the nearby Cottingham village.
New larger bike shed is installed to cater for those cycling to work.

Reducing weight and improving aerodynamics across Swift touring caravans and Swift motorhomes is a key element in the design process. By making them as light as possible, we can optimise fuel-efficiency and cut carbon emissions that pollute the environment.

With increased roof strength to allow for accumulated snow, Swift motorhomes are designed for year-round use. They are designed with an innovative blend of materials and construction techniques, as well as extensive durability and cold chamber testing, ensuring that they stand all seasons’ touring. Achieving the highest industry standard for heating and insulation at Grade 3, all Swift coachbuilt motorhome floors are made with black woven heavy-duty GRP, which is insulated with 35mm Ravatherm.
