It really doesn't matter whether you are a keen caravan rallygoer, prefer the peace and quiet of Certificated Locations, or just like being off the beaten track - if you intend using your own facilities, especially for the longer term, a decent sized washroom is a must. And for many people an equal requisite on the list of must-haves is a fixed bed too. Enter the Eccles Ruby, Sterlings' take on this already popular modern caravan design. Aimed at the premium market, the Ruby has a high standard specification, and while intended as a four berth, will most often be used as a luxury base for two.

Approximately half of the floorplan is given over to the rear bedroom, which can be partitioned from the rest of the caravan. Here you will find excellent storage facilities, whilst behind the fixed double bed is a separate end washroom with enough room to change in, having a shower cubicle, vanity sink and Thetford C250 toilet (which has a wheeled waste tank for those longer treks to disposal points). The front half of this tourer is given over to the fully specified kitchen (including microwave), flat surfaces, further storage and comfortable seating. This model aims to please those looking for an upmarket touring caravan with modern styling, comfort and convenience.
